Yaar is well known for her interpretations of the Evil Eye. She manipulates molten glass in front of a torch to make each eye and uses her own filigrana cane for eye lashes (this process is called Flameworking or Lampworking). Each eyeball is a work of art. In this collage she took each eyeball and sewed it to a piece of leather and then had it professionally framed.

Medium: Fused & Flameworked (Lampworked) Glass
Size: ~ 8" x 9" Wall Art
Yaar produces this beautiful Art Glass by first making each individual Filigrana Cane in front her torch. The canes are then placed in a pleasing pattern on a clear glass panel, and then put into a kiln to fuse the cane to the clear glass beneath. The entire glass art piece is then attached to a special hanging system. Once it is hung on the wall, it looks as if the glass in floating!
